Help!!! Cops and Kids
Updated On: Nov 04, 2017

Lawrence Fraternal Order of Police started their FOP Cops and Kids (formerly shop with a cop) over twenty five years ago. The program was established to build positive relationships between police officers and the children of the community.

FOP Cops and Kids is a unique opportunity that allows Lawrence Police Officers to assist Lawrence children in a way far different than any other. FOP Cops and Kids create a situation to help build a better future for the children and our community. We value our most precious national resource in every child’s future. In this event we assist these children in finding the Christmas we all can remember.

Police officers, school employees, social agencies and friends can recommend children for participation in the event. The children must meet certain criteria and be below the age of fourteen and have a social or economic need.

We are seeking community financial participation because it is the key to making this event such a huge success.

Please consider making a donation to this long standing worthy cause and allow a Lawrence children this year to have something special that we take for granted.

Please contact Tom Ashcraft with the F.O.P. to make a donation at 317-710-7030,
